Our Story

Brentwood Enterprises Ltd. was founded in 1967 in Burnaby, BC. The company focused on construction excavation and trucking and first worked in greater Vancouver, but soon branched out into other areas of British Columbia. The company’s head office moved to Kamloops in 1980 and during the past forty-two years in Kamloops, Brentwood has continually grown and expanded.

The growth of Brentwood had been fueled by a broad focus throughout the construction industry, including pulp mills, railways, municipal construction, and highway construction.

In 1970 Brentwood moved into the railway maintenance and derailment clean up business. The emphasis on railway work has been to supply crews and equipment during the year to meet the varied needs of CN Rail, BC Rail, and CP Rail.
